What is Capoeira? It’s a martial art, it’s a dance, it’s a game, confused? Well you are meant to be! It was developed in the 1600’s by West African slaves in Brazil, to enable them to practice fighting without their ‘masters’ realising it they disguised it as a dance. It has become really popular in the last ten years as it is a great way to learn martial arts tricking and also a lot of the elements of parkour. This workshop covers some of the very basics taught in a really fun way.
